How to Access Databases

In the law library:
Anyone may use one of the hardwired desktop public-access computers inside the law library to search multiple journals at once, using databases.

Anywhere:
Only current USC students, faculty, and staff may use their Network ID and password to search multiple journals at once, using databases via any computer or device, from anywhere.

Conferences

Best Bet:
ACM Digital Library
(Association for Computing Machinery)

Search proceedings of computing conferences to research a topic.

Or search within security or privacy conferences, such as Computer and Communications Security or Information Hiding & Multimedia Security.

IEEE Digital Library
(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)

Search IEEE Computer Society conference publications to research a topic.

Try searching the "publications" field for a broad term such as security or privacy, then select only relevant conferences to search within.

Best Bet:
PLI Plus
(Practising Law Institute)

Search transcripts of cybersecurity and privacy law conferences to research a topic.

Apply for a scholarship to attend an upcoming cybersecurity conference for free (current students and faculty).

Also try searching journals and newsletters.

Also try these databases of proceedings of computing conferences.
