Law Databases
Access to the resources listed on this page is limited. Users may access most of these databases from a School of Law computer. Faculty, staff, and students have remote access with a University of South Carolina network username and password.
JSTOR provides digital access to a collection of more than 1500 current and archival academic journals, monographs, and supporting primary material. Available collections focus primarily on the humanities, social sciences, and sciences.
Oxford Scholarship Online (OSO) offers access to thousands of academic monographs, in 19 subject areas across the humanities, social sciences, sciences, medicine, and law. The Law database offers full text search access as well as “browse by subject” and “search my subject specialization” options.
SSRN is an online research network containing over 328,000 full text papers and academic articles in the social sciences, including law. Most articles are downloadable for free in PDF format. The Legal Scholarship Network section focuses specifically on research in law.
