The Law Library Chat service is available during reference hours (Mon.-Fri., 9AM-5PM).
The Law Library will continue to offer assistance with research and instruction using our remote resources.
Reference Librarians will be available Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, to answer questions via email at: lawref@law.sc.edu or via the Law Library Text Chat service.
If you have any questions about library services while you are off-campus, please contact us at lawref@law.sc.edu and we will answer you promptly during our reference hours.
Many Law Library and UofSC Libraries resources may be accessed remotely using your UofSC log-in credentials (the username and password used for your University email account).
E-books and other online resources can also be located through the Law Library's online catalog. Using an Advanced Search can narrow your search results to include only e-books, only e-journals, or other online-only resources.
For assistance using electronic resources, please contact lawref@law.sc.edu and we will answer promptly during our reference hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
For additional assistance with accessing these resources, please see Who to Contact.
Due to evolving circumstances and anticipated delays, the library cannot guarantee timely receipt of your requests for new materials at this time. We appreciate your patience.
If you have borrowed any library materials, please do not attempt to return them while campus is closed. The library will renew them throughout the closure, and will provide instructions for returning materials when the library re-opens. Please contact Andy Kretschmar with any questions.
The PASCAL Delivers service is currently unavailable.
Requesting materials through the Law Library online catalog is currently unavailable. However, ebooks and other electronic resources can still be accessed through the online catalog.
All instructions for remote resources that we post on the @UofSCLawLib Instagram story are saved.
View them on your smartphone at instagram.com/uofsclawlib, then click the “Remote?” highlight.
