    Free Internet Legal Resources is a collection of reliable and free resources that can serve as a great starting point for your research. In fact, government websites, such as the Government Publishing Offices (GPO's) govinfo (formerly FDsys) now include digitized print primary resources that are authenticated and official.
    South Carolina Legal Resources research guide can help you locate print and online, current and archival, primary (law) and secondary (books, etc.) legal resources specific to South Carolina. 

    South Carolina Briefs and Records.The Law Library has briefs and records for some (but not all) cases decided by the South Carolina Supreme Court and South Carolina Court of Appeals from 1858 to 2014. These briefs and records are in print (not online).


    LRAW Research Textbook is the online research text used by first-year law students in their Legal Research, Analysis and Writing course.  The Fall text covers state statutes and caselaw; the Spring text covers federal statutes, federal case law as well as secondary sources, and federal and state regulations.
